Jhn 1:1 In the beginning was the gospel preached through the Son. And the gospel was the word, and the word was with the Son, and the Son was with God, and the Son was of God.
I dig Tracy Chapman. I do not know about her new stuff, but her first album has something, some quality I really like. Very peaceful, wise vibes.
Anyway, we're talking 'bout God here, Da Word...1st entry, might as well start with the basics...There they are, listed above...Any thoughts...?
Hmmm...Needing to differentiate between God, the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Word and Gospel. Between a witness giving Glory to and one trying to take away...and the reason why...To share some of that Glory with willing, faithful servants and fellows...or to somehow take from God what is His and His alone, and exalt self and others in error?
Jesus stated , he who would be greatest among you must be your servant...yet the same would come from God who would not share His Glory with another, and would not show respect to persons and would not have anyone in the flesh glory in His Presence.
The same is a Spirit, that only One can Master but many share in.
The right and Honor was bestowed upon the Son, yet those who are faithful, Jesus stated would do equal and greater works than he.
Jesus was clearly not selfish nor entertaining thoughts of Eternal Glory when he brought the Gospel to the World for Eternal Glory was already His. So that yes through Jesus God intended to share His Glory with the rest of us, but not out of Order. And the Gospel was presented even before the world existed...It was not instituted during Jesus' Ministry but had been the foundation of Creation from the Beginning.
